This past Sunday, a group of enthusiastic youth gathered at PBall Smash in Port Richey for a unique and energetic pickleball lesson—an event designed exclusively for a local Christian youth group.
The atmosphere was filled with excitement, encouragement, and community as the group stepped onto the courts ready to learn, laugh, and build lasting connections. With the guidance of experienced instructors, the students were introduced to the fundamentals of pickleball, including paddle technique, court movement, and teamwork drills.
More than just a sports lesson, the experience reinforced the values of sportsmanship, perseverance, and fellowship. The event reflected how fitness, faith, and fun can connect meaningfully.
The energy on the courts was contagious, as the youth cheered each other on, celebrated small victories, and supported one another through every serve and rally. Whether it was their first time playing or they had some experience, everyone walked away with a renewed sense of community—and maybe even a newfound love for the game.

Our lead instructor, Coach Igor, brought years of experience and a passion for pickleball to the event, ensuring that participants of all skill levels were catered to. The Coach Assistant Tabitha was on hand to provide additional support, making sure everyone received personalized attention.
